That is a good question. I'm Joel. I'm a writer. I used to do stand up comedy but having the eyes of the crowd (Usually about seven people, Four of whom were looking at their phones) proved far too much limelight for me. so i retreat to the safety of the internet. Originally I started a car blog but that was almost exclusively followed by clinical psychologists...
After that I started writing short stories and that is how the Compendium of Woe came to be. My first short story collection. Self published of course.
Are we not living in the age of Woe? A lot of my short stories revolve around perpetual irritants to me. for example Landlords, traffic and house prices. I either use writing as a form of therapy, or have no imagination. To me the name the Compendium of Woe fits.
True story. I used to go to therapy but it was so expensive I had to move the a cheaper flat which in itself triggered more therapy.*
*Disclaimer. I am not against therapy. In fact I'm very mush for it and believe far more people should go.
Its available on Kindle. and in paperback on Amazon.
